In this episode, I am sharing a simple node tree and technique utilising Blender Grease Pencil, SV nodes and Voxel Remesher to perform ”Donuts Icing” magic.

I always dream of such a ”modellilng” tool where we can simply paint strokes and each strokes will accumulate and keep generating ”solid” mesh. Almost like having a toothpaste and being able to create 3D sculpture from it.

In this video, I am sharing with you the idea and how I implement it to create Donuts Icing. But maybe we can use similar technique like ”3D Pen”.

I have also seen VR Tools out there that is doing this kind of 3D Painting on air. It’s painting with Voxel or SDF or whatever they call it.

I wish that one day maybe we can have such tool for Blender VR: 3D Paint Strokes Grease Pencil.
