Particle Pyro Trails – Houdini tutorial (Part 1 – The important part)
Here is part 1 of a 3 part tutorial where we go from zero to hero on and effect based on advecting particles based on the velocity field generated by a pyro sim in Houdini. This would, of course, work with any velocity field, so if you’re reading this/have the gumption I’d love to see your version with a fluid sim… just sayin’.
In this part we go over the important stuff for making this effect happen ie: the houdini part. Enjoy:)
