Low Poly Animated Blender Character to Unity
In this update for the Unity Low Poly Game Kit I added an animated enemy character (Bersekrer) that is made with Blender 2.8: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/low-poly-game-kit-pro-121871
I used the same texture as for the other models of the low poly game kit, this is possible because of the texturing approach using one texture with color squares:
I show how to export the Blender character as FBX with animations which is imported then in Unity 2018.
After that I explain the animation setup (animator humanoid) the C# scripts to control the animations and the combat mode.
I added an NPC healthbar component to the enemy that can be reused for other characters and also explain the C# scripts in this video.
The last feature is a minimap that is also available now in the Unity Low Poly Game Kit Pro – how to implement this in detail will be described in one of the next tutorials.
