3D is all about working with objects, so let’s learn how to select them in Blender. Luckily, it’s pretty simple.
You can select objects in the 3D View or in the Outliner by left clicking on them.
To add or remove from the selection, hold down Shift while selecting. This also toggles which object is the active object.
Click in empty space to deselect all objects.
Select all or none by using the hotkeys A and Alt + A.
Lastly, you can box, lasso, or paint select using the selection tools in the toolbar.
