LIVENODING 1191 / Procedural LED Wave with Animation Nodes
Here is a quick improvisation using Animation Nodes to make some wave LED that should work for Cycles or Eevee for rendering. The effect should be realtime.
Visualizing abstract values affected by math formulas and generated via vector … can be complicated, but this is one way to be able to see and understand it. And I think the setup ”cannot be any simpler” than this.
Keep in mind that instancing lots of objects can be heavy. Ideally something like this can be performed most efficiently using Particles or Voxel maybe even as Shader nodes.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Blender 2.80
– Animation Nodes Add-On 2, latest version
