World, Film, Game: the transmedia storytelling of Golf Club: Wasteland – Unite LA
Golf Club: Wasteland started with the concept of a post-apocalyptic world in ruins that turned into a playground for the ultra-rich. Only after they developed the world did they design the game, story, and music videos using the same assets and tools within the Unity framework. Closer to a virtual film set with real-time rendering, the experience across multiple media remains cohesive creatively and in terms of the pipelines for different outputs.
