Moving hold in animation:
Moving hold is when a character stays in the same pose for a beat, with only marginal movement. This provides a visual break from continuous action, which helps read the poses more clearly.
▶ Stillness is just as important as movement!
▶ Moving holds add readability and realism to your work.
▶ Without them, the animation will feel rushed and have no particular point of focus.
