A macro hotkey is any hotkey you can press to perform multiple tasks. There’s actually a quite easy way to create simple macros in Blender. I’ll show you an example of how to do this in today’s video featuring a macro (single button press) for adding a subsurf modifier to an object and applying smooth shading. You could use this technique to combine any to Blender actions though.
