A cloth that folds, ball that bounces on sand, a curtain that drapes… Blender has excellent tools for simulating the movement of soft objects that bend and deform: soft body dynamics and cloth sims.
This is the opposite of rigid body dynamics which we explored in a previous video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lDY5YN3SEA&t=2s
In this beginner-friendly video Chris Bailey (@CBaileyFilm ) takes us through the basics of simulating soft body’s and cloth!
