LIVENODING Animating Face Blinds using Nodes in Blender
In this episode, I am attempting to create this classic “face blinds FX” using nodes in Blender.
With SV node, we have Polygon Adaptive node that’s allowing us to replace every polygon face with anything. So for the curtain blinds, we can use a PLANE that can be subdivided, and then animate face per face to disappear using LIST MASK. This is the trick!
This should work for 3D mesh that’s all quads. Enjoy!
