LIVENODING SV Just Box and Matrix Nodes

In this episode, I am doing a Live Noding improvisation with SV nodes, just using 2 simple ingredients: Box and Matrix Nodes.
Apparently you can have an unlimited complex variations of 3D abstract structures simply by using Matrix Transform nodes (location, rotation, scale) and having multiple levels of matrix. You are probably familiar with Array Modifiers? This is a little more. You can have control over each object scale, location, and rotation.
Sometimes when working with Matrix, you can imagine that your start from nothing, and there is only “description” of things:
– What do you want to generate?
– What size is the box in X,Y,Z?
– Where do you want to place it?
– Do you like to randomize the box and make each one unique?
And those are something you can do with nodes and noding. It’s not unlike coding, just a different language.
In the end, there is nothing in the scene. Just description of box and the matrix nodes, inside a container: a Blend file 🙂
