LIVENODING 1303 SV Revisiting Classic Zenga Blocks Stack using Nodes
#zenga #blocks #nodes
In this episode, I am revisiting the good old “algorithm” of Zenga Blocks Stacking using SVerchok nodes in Blender. I have done something similar in the past, but this time it feels so much simpler.
You can do this in many different ways, including generating brick like structure by extruding, but I am using only the Matrix Transformation list that is being generated on the fly using pattern of numbers.
1. Create the block element: box scaled.
2. For each block we need to arrange it in a certain position and rotation angle.
3. Give the block 90 ° rotation for each level of stack.
This should be a very good practice to start thinking of pattern and generating it using nodes.
The whole thing can be recreated using python code as well, and having created this using nodes, it becomes simpler to code.
